Course Details

DescriptionThis course builds upon the concepts introduced in the previous course, Bridge Basics 1. It is strongly suggested individuals have taken Bridge Basics 1 or have experience playing bridge. The eight sessions will be broken down into the following general areas: 1. Preemptive opening bids. 2. Overcalls and advances. 3. Takeout doubles and advances. 4. The competitive auction.
RequirementsBuild on skills learned in Bridge Basics 1
ObjectivesBy the end of the course the student will be able to successfully communicate with their partner and play a game of Bridge. The course will provide a foundation for future learning of more advanced concepts. The course will focus on enjoyment of the game at whatever level you wish to play.
