Course Details

DescriptionA circuit class specifically designed for active older adults to strengthen weak muscles, stretch tight areas and build core strength. We will use the chair, the band, light hand weights and the balls for exercises.
RequirementsEnthusiasm and proper footwear. Participants will be required to complete UPEI and Seniors College waiver forms in order to participate.

Angela is a UPEI Fitness and Wellness Coordinator with a B.Sc Kinesiology. She has taken: Yoga Instructor Training (RYT 200), Nordix Pole Walking Instructor training, Restorative Teacher Training with Yoga International, a Ball workshop with Western Canadian Centre for Activity & Aging, and a Functional Activity Measures Workshop with Western Canadian Centre for Activity & Aging.
