Down By the Bay: Where the Watershed Flows (Queens County)
This course will introduce the basic concept of both a watershed and a bay using the Winter River-Tracadie Bay Watershed as a case study. The topics will include the components of a watershed, movement of fresh and salt water, and the use of the river and bay by humans and wildlife. Through completion of this course participants will be able to define a watershed and its important features as a source of freshwater as well as define a bay and its unique uses for wildlife and humans.
