Water Needs Plants (Queens County)

This course will introduce the basic concept of a watershed using the Winter River-Tracadie Bay Watershed as a case study. Topics include the components of a watershed with a focus on the typical plants of a PEI watershed and their part in providing and protecting water. By the end of this course participants will have an overview of the interactions of water and plants in a watershed.

Additional Costs or InformationFor this outdoor course, dress for the weather as well as for walking at an easy pace for 90 minutes over uneven surfaces along an old road and on a narrow, wooded trail.
