Rotary Club of Charlottetown signs $10,000 Sponsorship Contract

Najam Chishti, Past President, Rotary Club of Charlottetown met recently with Peter Benson to sign a new Gold Sponsorship contract supporting Seniors College of PEI!

The Rotary Club of Charlottetown, founded in 1917, was the 8th Rotary Club chartered in Canada. Over the years, they have supported many local projects including Easter Seals PEI, Camp Gencheff, Rotary Soup Kitchen, and more recently the Charlottetown Library and Learning Centre.

They are home to Rotary Radio Bingo, airing Tuesday evenings on CFCY. Other club activities include the Prince Street School and St. Jean School breakfast programs, the Upper Room, Youth Exchange, Youth Parliament, and the implementation of a Dialysis Transportation Program to help low income dialysis patients.

Seniors College of PEI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to lifelong learning for PEI seniors aged 50 and older, and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
