Classic Musicals from Stage and Screen (Kings County)
Each week we provide some background commentary about a famous musical then watch it in the comfort of our living room at Montague B&B. Great music and superb dance routines on our big screen, refreshments and laughter in the room are the norm. Film choices are decided by the group each week.

Course FacilitatorBrenda DewarBrenda Dewar has enjoyed decades of involvement in choral music in church and community choirs and is an on-going supporter of the PEI Kiwanis Music Festival.
Both Brenda and Edgar Dewar have been opera lovers for more than 20 years. They have conducted many opera viewings for Seniors College. Their introduction to opera was with similar evenings with friends when they retired home to PEI in 1995 and now plan vacations with opera outings and regularly attend the NY Met’s Live-in-HD performances in Charlottetown. They both love classical musicals and enjoy sharing with others from their home.
Edgar and Brenda have offered this course successfully since 2014.
Brief notes about each musical are provided in print or via email for all who may want to save an outline of our discussions. |
