Course Details

DescriptionCharlottetown’s history is particularly visible in its streetscapes and its architecture. This course will use that architecture to trace the evolution of Charlottetown from its beginnings to the recent past.

Edward MacDonald is professor of History at UPEI where he teaches Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Canadian, and public history. Research interests focus on Island history within a comparative context, regionally, nationally, and of island societies.
