Course Details |
Description | Chalk pastel on special sanded art paper holds the chalk in place allowing the artist the ability to build layers to develop a masterpiece! |
Requirements | Talented or not, each participant will develop a masterpiece or maybe more than one. |

Objectives | To create your masterpiece(s) and have fun doing it. |
Teaching Process | Practice piece first to understand how chalk works on sanded paper and then commence work on a masterpiece or two. Choose your own scenes, bring your own photos. |

Background |
Joan has been involved in the Island art community since 1981. Her artwork is available at multiple galleries across PEI. Her website is: natureshealingart.com .
Joan Savage has also been certified since 2000 as a Reflexologist by the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) and graduated with a BN from UNB in 1979.
Joan Savage has been painting since an early age. Her mediums include, oil, water colour, acrylic & chalk pastel, pastels being her favourite. You may find her works at The Dunes Gallery, The Eptek Centre, The PEI Crafts Council Gallery, The Kensington Art Co-op Gallery & The Moonlight Bay Gift Shop in St. Peter's.
