Book Club (Kings County)
This book club will read and discuss 20th and 21st century novels written by women, exploring women's issues. Members will be asked to read one book per month. The Book Club will run from September to June, 2024 with 3 sessions each term.
Proposed dates: Fall: Sept 11, Oct 16, Nov 20. Winter: Jan 8, Feb 12, March 18; Spring: April 8, May 6, June 3.

Requirements | Members will be responsible to find their own novel or read online., and will also be invited to take turns recommending novels to be read by the group. |

Objectives | To pursue the pleasure of reading and discussing themes that run throughout women's literature. |
Teaching Process | Nine monthly meetings (September - June) will be casual, intimate, and fun. Members will be asked to bring their thoughts about the novel studied, and their favourite quotes. |

Additional Costs or Information | A book list will be determined once members have a chance for input. They will be encouraged to purchase their books the way they wish: order online, local secondhand bookshop, or electronic reader, etc. Every effort will be made to keep costs down. |
