Course Details |
Description | A circuit class specifically designed for active older adults to strengthen muscles, stretch tight areas and build core strength. We will use the chair, bands , light hand weights and balls for exercises. Note: Participants can only sign up for one circuit training program per semester; ie. either 9 am or 10 am on Thursdays with Angela. |
Requirements | Enthusiasm and proper footwear. Participants will be required to complete UPEI and Seniors College waiver forms in order to participate. |

Background |
Angela is a UPEI Fitness and Wellness Coordinator with a B.Sc Kinesiology. She has taken: Yoga Instructor Training (RYT 200), Nordix Pole Walking Instructor training, Restorative Teacher Training with Yoga International, a Ball workshop with Western Canadian Centre for Activity & Aging, and a Functional Activity Measures Workshop with Western Canadian Centre for Activity & Aging.
