Beginner - Oil or Acrylic Painting (Prince County)
In this course, participants will learn how to paint by just using three colors (red, yellow and blue) and white for mixing.
The first session will be about mixing colors and each participant will create their own color wheel. Then review reference photos to decide which reference photo they will be using for the next classes.
The second and continuing classes will involve creating a painting(s) from beginning to end.

| Requirements | The desire to learn to paint, the willingness to accept guidance, patience in your creation, and enjoy the process of learning to paint. |

| Additional Costs or Information | Participants are required to purchase all their own supplies; paints (ultramarine blue, pthalo blue, cadmium red and cadmium yellow and titanium white), brushes, canvases (suggested size 11x14), odorless turpentine (or odorless paint thinner), palette knife, pencil, ruler, painter’s masking tape, palette paper, paper towels (or rags) and easel.
Participants will be asked to bring with them reference photos.
