Mi'kmaq History and Protocols (Queens County)
Come and learn the rich and beautiful culture of the Mi'kmaq of PEI with the use of songs, stories, and poetry. It is a gentle way to learn more, ask questions in a safe place, and listen watch and learn with Julie.

Course FacilitatorJulie Pellissier-LushJulie Pellissier-Lush is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg and works with young families at the Mi'kmaq Family Resource Centre. She has also been vice-president of the Aboriginal Women's Association of P.E.I.
Julie has been a story teller since she was a little girl and her stories all come from her Elders all over PEI. She is also the first Indigenous Poet Laureate of PEI.
