
Gardening in Spring (Queens County)
We will discuss gardening in harmony with nature, putting the right plant in the right place, houseplants with repotting demo, gardening to attract wildlife, 100+ plans ideal for PEI, tasks to do in the spring garden, growing vegetables, planting tomatoes, lawn care, composting, pests and weeds, and any other gardening related topics of interest.

Objectives | To gain knowledge and confidence when tending your garden |
Teaching Process | Lectures supported by powerpoint pictures, hands-on experience repotting houseplants and starting tomatoes. Students are encouraged to ask lots of questions in class or by email. Week 8 will be a field trip. |
