Description | Despite its common perception, beer is the most complex beverage around. Here you will learn about its origins, the dozens of styles of beer, the ingredients, how it’s produced and distributed, and of course develop a greater appreciation and enjoyment of craft beer from grain to glass.

Background |
Mike Hogan (Hogie) is the beer engineer and co-owner at Upstreet Craft Brewing. He has been brewing commercially since 2015 but has been enjoying and educating himself about beer long before that. An engineer by trade and avid homebrewer, he measures what goes in and tastes what comes out. .
